A cable tray attachment assembly frames into a back-to-back cold-formed steel metal stud column. Two Simpson LSTA12 straps secure the framing members at the back-to-back column location, with typical ceiling blocking installed across two bays fastened using two number twelve sheet metal screws at twelve inches on center. The ceiling joists are sized per the ceiling framing plan and tie into the cold-formed steel stud assembly. Additional information regarding the connection is referenced to sheet S7.02.
