A thickened concrete equipment pad sits adjacent to a standard slab-on-grade. The slab features a minimum thickness with reinforcing steel sized per structural schedules and plans. Cast-in-place anchor bolts are positioned within the thickened pad according to equipment anchorage schedules. Subgrade preparation supports both the standard slab and the thickened equipment pad.
