A cast-in-place concrete beam features top reinforcement per schedule at the upper corners and bottom reinforcement per schedule at the lower corners. Shear reinforcement encloses the core, supplemented by additional skin reinforcement along the sides of the beam stem. Alternate cross ties span horizontally across the interior of the section. The adjoining concrete slab is placed per plan where it occurs, bearing into the beam web at height H and width W.
