A reinforced concrete pad depression is formed within a concrete slab with a one and one-half inch clearance and recess depth. Reinforcement consists of number four bars spaced at twelve inches on center each way. Pad size and location are coordinated with fire protection drawings, and dimensions are verified with sprinkler drawings. The surrounding concrete slab is detailed per the foundation plan, featuring standard lap lengths and edge clearances.
