A steel beam connects to a perimeter bent plate centered on the beam centerline with a three-eighths by twelve-inch plate. Fillet welds of five-sixteenths and one-quarter inch size secure the steel members together. The assembly includes a one-half inch minimum radius typical at corners and maintains a one-foot one-and-three-quarter-inch dimension to the face of finish.
