The connection between a concrete slab on grade, a mat foundation, and a reinforced concrete water tank wall. The slab on grade features extended reinforcing with minimum development length or hooked anchorage with standard hook dimensions. Wall reinforcing consists of number 5 vertical and horizontal bars at eight inches on center, supplemented by top U-bars matching the wall vertical reinforcing spaced at twelve inches on center. A control joint is provided at the slab intersection per contractor option. Level elevations are designated at Level B1 and Level B2.
