An HSS 3x3x.188 hollow structural section post supports a stair landing framed with a C12 channel on three sides with mitred corners. An inverted L 2 1/2 x 2 1/2 x 3/16 angle provides deck support at the landing perimeter. The post anchors to the floor slab using a four-inch by four-inch by quarter-inch base plate fastened with one 5/8-inch diameter anchor bolt.
