An unreinforced brick masonry wall receives a drilled hole fitted with an epoxy-filled screen tube per the manufacturer instructions. A reinforcing bar or threaded rod is set into the epoxy with a minimum two-inch embedment depth plus length L1 as specified in the structural tables. The anchor connects to a class B lap splice at the reinforcing bar per schedule or to a threaded rod extension as required per assembly details. A dowel orientation is coordinated per the typical embedded anchor conditions shown in adjacent details.
