A structural steel flange plate measuring 250 millimeters wide by 16 millimeters thick is centered on the top flange of a wide-flange steel beam. The assembly features a 30-millimeter overhang on each side of the plate relative to the beam flange edge. A 12-millimeter fillet weld connects the plate to the structural member, indicated with field weld and weld-all-around symbols.
