A structural steel corner column connects to framing beams sized per plan, including a W12x19 member. A diagonal W12x26 member with moment connections at each end frames into the assembly to support the davit socket pedestal. The davit socket pedestal sits atop a 3/4-inch by 12-inch square minimum steel plate.
