A typical six-inch diameter gutter drop-out connects the gutter to a down-flowing drainage elbow and a PVC gutter return pipe running to a surge tank. The pipe is sloped at a minimum of one-quarter inch per foot as specified in the pool piping plans on sheet SP300. Pool system shop drawings must be consulted for additional gutter piping connections.
