A steel stair stringer connects to a structural steel beam framed into a masonry wall. The stair stringer to beam connection utilizes a three-eighths inch fillet weld. A complete joint penetration weld joins the stair stringers together at the structural intersection. The steel beam bears against the masonry wall, which is detailed per the structural plan and schedule.
