A structural steel beam frames into a reinforced concrete collector beam using A572-50 top and bottom plates welded with C.P. U.T. welds. Collector reinforcement is tied into the concrete assembly using Lenton C2 weldable couplers and Lenton form savers per elevations and plans. Tie layouts are provided above and below the shown collector bars. The assembly is detailed with specific dimensional clearances and reinforcing spacing.
