A long-span steel open-web joist bears onto a concrete tilt-up wall panel via a joist bearing angle consisting of an L5x5x3/8 angle with a three-eighths-inch stiffener plate at the center. The bearing angle is welded to a half-inch by twelve-inch by one-foot-four-inch embed plate anchored into the concrete wall with four three-quarter-inch diameter by five-inch heavy-duty sleeve anchors at a nine-inch gauge. Metal roof deck spans across the top chords of the joists and is supported by a continuous L5x3x1/4 angle attached to the concrete wall with three-quarter-inch diameter by five-inch concrete screw anchors at eighteen inches on center. A channel chord runs parallel to the wall between joists with welded connections detailed throughout the assembly.
