A concrete slab over metal deck bears on a structural steel beam, with a continuous forty-three mil closure plate secured by powder-actuated fasteners at sixteen inches on center to the beam and number eight sheet metal screws at sixteen inches on center to the header. A deflection track accommodates vertical movement above the header, which supports the upper and lower glazing assemblies. Infill framing is provided per sheet S1.5.
