A composite floor deck bears perpendicularly on a wide flange beam with a light gauge cell closure supplied by the deck manufacturer. A fourteen gauge single piece edge form is provided by the deck manufacturer at the slab perimeter. Three-quarter inch diameter welded headed studs are equally spaced along the beam at a maximum six inch spacing and welded through the deck with a one-eighth inch fillet weld on a twelve-inch pitch.
