A wide-flange beam frames into a hollow structural section column utilizing double rows of bolts on each side of the column and a slotted plate passing through the column profile. A perpendicular plate passes through the slotted hollow structural section column as specified per plan. Double rows of bolts connect the beam web with typical near side and far side configurations. The hollow structural section column is sized per plan with a typical four-inch dimension.
