Metal studs as scheduled terminate at a slotted deflection track secured beneath a steel deck. Layers of 5/8-inch gypsum board per wall type finish the partition face on the non-chase side. Acoustical sealant is applied at the gap between the gypsum board and the underside of the steel deck.
