Reinforcement details for openings in post-tensioned concrete slabs show placement around ten-to-twenty-four-inch circular and square penetrations. Post-tensioning tendons run adjacent to the openings maintaining a typical three-inch clearance on one side and a typical one-inch clearance on the opposite side. One number five reinforcing bar is placed at both the top and bottom typically, extending one foot six inches beyond the opening edges.
