This cold-formed steel framed window opening assembly consists of dual 600S200-43 header members nested within top and bottom 600T125-43 header tracks fastened with number 10 screws at 8 inches on center. Double S600S162-43 jamb studs are fastened web-to-web with number 10 screws at 24 inches on center and tied to the header with an 18 gauge L2x2 angle secured by three number 10 screws on each leg. Cripple studs and infill studs match typical wall framing and connect to jamb tracks and cap tracks using number 10 screws. The sill utilizes a 600T125-43 track above infill studs anchored to the base track with additional anchorage at the jamb base.
