An HSS5x5x1/2 hollow structural section pedestal sits on a supporting steel glulam beam and is cast around with concrete at level 3. A cold-formed steel stud and acoustical dowel laminated timber roof assembly tie into the connection alongside an HSS column located beyond the grid line. Connections are detailed per structural sheet S5.02.
