A two-inch concrete fill is placed within a typical twelve-gauge metal pan stair tread supported by a stair stringer sized per plan. The stair pan connects to the stringer with a one-eighth-inch fillet weld spaced at six inches on center. The tread-to-tread connection uses a one-eighth-inch fillet weld at four to twelve inches on center. A guard rail post is attached per architectural drawings. Stair geometry and dimensions must coordinate with architectural drawings.
