A heavy steel connection is fastened with thirty-six 1 1/4-inch Group B bolts in standard holes. The flanges are welded using E80 electrodes with a size of 1 3/4 inches, specified for each flange. The web features an E80 weld with 1/2-inch fillet welds on both sides. The connection assembly measures 3'-4" square.
