A Type 10 column base plate assembly anchors a wide flange steel column to its foundation. The rectangular base plate measures 3 feet 4 inches in length by 1 foot 8 inches in width, configured with four anchor bolts positioned symmetrically around the steel section. The anchor bolts are set 4 inches in from the short edges and spaced 1 foot 8 inches apart longitudinally with 10 inch end distances. Centerline intersections align the column web and flanges with the anchor bolt groups.
