A back-to-back tiedown post is anchored into a concrete wall footing and slab-on-grade. The assembly features a tiedown and PABX anchor rod embedded into a square concrete pad centered beneath the holddowns. Sheathing edge fastening is provided to each stud as specified in the tiedown schedule. The concrete slab edge occurs at the perimeter adjacent to the wall footing with a minimum one foot eight inch vertical dimension.
