A six-inch diameter steel pipe bollard is filled with concrete and mounted to a structural slab. The bollard base consists of a half-inch by twelve-inch by twelve-inch steel plate secured by eight three-quarter-inch through-bolts. The concrete assembly below is reinforced with four number five bars, four feet zero inches long, running in each way under the bollard.
