An insulated transfer duct routes air from a ceiling plenum through an elbow to a wall transfer air grille. The interior of the duct features one and a half inches of acoustic lining for sound attenuation. The horizontal run penetrating the wall maintains a minimum length of two times the duct dimension. An insulated flexible duct is permitted as an alternative to the rectangular duct configuration shown.
