A skewed beam web connection plate frames into a continuous beam web at a specified angle theta. A web plate is bolted to the skewed beam web and welded to the supporting beam web at the working point. The weld configuration incorporates a partial joint penetration full groove weld with no ultrasonic testing required. Similar to a ninety-degree angle connection when the angle is less than or equal to thirty degrees. Additional information is referenced in the beam to beam connection details.
