Cold-formed steel framing details show the intersection and track splice configurations for interior or exterior partitions. Typical steel studs connect to the bottom track using number 10 sheet metal screws on each side at each stud location. Additional number 10 sheet metal screws fasten stud to stud at twenty-four inches on center. A maximum six-inch powder-actuated fastener spacing applies per sheet structural note zero point twenty. The bottom track layout accommodates intersecting wall segments with defined maximum clearances.
