An outrigger beam connects to a column with three-sided 1/4 inch fillet welds and a 3/8 inch full depth stiffener plate detailed per plan. A continuous L3x3x1/4 angle welded with 3/16 inch fillet welds supports the adjacent concrete slab on metal deck. The assembly ties into a concrete over metal deck floor system with designated top of steel and top of slab elevations.
