Precast trench drains are embedded within a concrete slab featuring six inches minimum thickness and parallel control or construction joints. The assembly incorporates continuous epoxy-coated number four reinforcing bars spaced at twelve inches on center alongside five continuous number four reinforcing bars. A pourback strip is provided adjacent to the trench drain to facilitate alignment and placement. Coordination with mechanical and architectural drawings is required for sizing and positioning.
