A wide flange beam connects to a wide flange column using a bolted shear tab on the web and complete joint penetration groove welds on the flanges typically. The centerline of the wide flange beam aligns with the column connection details referenced on sheet S6.5. The top of concrete elevation is referenced to the structural plan. Additional beam members frame into the opposite side of the column with matching web connections.
