A cast-in-place concrete wall and continuous footing bear upon engineered structural fill extending down to native soil per the soils report, with a free-draining granular base and vapor barrier beneath the interior slab. The exterior finish grade slopes away from the structure with compacted backfill, maintaining a six-inch minimum clearance from the top of the foundation wall to finish grade. Footing dimensions maintain a width equal to depth, with sizing specified per plan.
