A channel stringer connects to a supporting steel member using a quarter-inch thick plate welded with three-sixteenths inch fillets. Three three-quarters inch diameter machine bolts secure the connection through the plate and channel web. Edge distances are three inches horizontally and one and one-half inches vertically with a three-inch bolt spacing. The channel profile and overall finish are sized per plan.
