An angle brace connects to a structural steel beam supporting a metal or composite deck per plan. The brace consists of an L4x4x1/4 angle spaced at four feet on center unless noted otherwise. A 1/4 inch by 6 inch by 6 inch plate welds to the beam web using 3/16 inch fillet welds. Two additional shear studs are provided at each brace location on the supporting beam flange.
