A slab on metal deck bears on a continuous L4x4x1/4 structural steel angle secured to a concrete wall or beam. The angle is anchored using three-quarter-inch diameter post-installed anchors spaced at three feet on center with a minimum four-and-three-quarter-inch effective embedment, with a minimum of two anchors per section. Diaphragm reinforcing, chord bars, and welded wire reinforcement tie the slab into the vertical support. Hooked bars and optional couplers accommodate wall thickness constraints while providing required development lengths.
