Anchor bolts are embedded into concrete masonry unit walls with a minimum one-inch grout clearance all around the bolt. Minimum bolt spacing is twelve bolt diameters with a minimum edge distance of six bolt diameters. The embedment schedule specifies required embedment depths for bolt sizes ranging from one-half inch to one inch in diameter, with a minimum edge distance of 1.5d.
