A reinforced concrete pedestal features vertical reinforcing bars placed at each corner and enclosed by perimeter ties. A minimum clearance of 5 inches is maintained from the face of the pedestal to the internal sleeve or embedment. Vertical reinforcement consists of number 4 bars located at each corner.
