Three structural concrete conditions are anchored to an existing slab on grade, starting with a new curb secured by number four epoxy-grouted dowels spaced at twenty-four inches on center with roughened interface surfaces and a continuous top bar. A new housekeeping pad is tied to the slab with number four dowels at twelve inches on center each way, providing two inches typical perimeter clearance and a maximum one-foot height. Continuous footing steps feature bent bars matching footing reinforcement, tied with dowels and standard hooks, maintaining three-inch clear cover, and utilizing lap splices as specified. All concrete interfaces require roughened surfaces, and drilled epoxy dowels reference sheet twenty-slash-S-five-dot-zero-two.
