An hollow structural section stringer bears onto a three-quarter-inch plate seat with a three-quarter-inch stiffener below the stringer. A three-inch by three-inch by quarter-inch angle measuring zero feet eight inches long with a four-inch slot connects to the stringer using a three-quarter-inch diameter bolt centered in the slot. A quarter-inch cap plate tops the assembly, and a two-inch clear spacing is maintained. The foundation wall anchors a three-quarter-inch by twelve-inch by one-foot-zero-inch plate with six three-quarter-inch diameter by five-inch heavy stud anchors at each stringer. The slab on deck extends over the wall and is left unattached from the foundation wall per plan.
