A built-up light-gauge steel jamb connects at the slab and deck edge using an L8x4x7/16 angle centered on the jamb, secured with two rows of four 1/4-inch diameter by 3-1/2-inch Simpson SDS screws. Continuous L6 angles with fasteners tie into the deck edge adjacent to the jamb. A glulam column cap steel plate aligns with the columns and connects with five number 14 self-tapping sheet metal screws at each contact point. Clips on each face of the jamb provide additional fixity and connection as required by plan.
