Continuous or cantilevered wide flange beams frame over a hollow structural section column with a centered centerline alignment. A bearing plate measuring 1/2 inch by beam width by required length sits atop the column and connects with four 3/4 inch diameter A325 bolts at standard gauge. A full-depth stiffener plate is welded to the web with a 5/16 inch fillet weld. The beams are sized per plan and attach with standard connection details.
