A beam to rigid frame column web connection for W16 and deeper beams distinguishes between one-sided and two-sided connections based on a horizontal spacing threshold of twelve inches between beams on opposite sides. A full height shear tab is noted as not required at W12 beams and smaller. Edge distance and bolt spacing follow American Institute of Steel Construction specifications per the schedule. Where the spacing is greater than four inches, a one-sided shear tab connection is used.
