A standard concrete pit is recessed into a slab on grade. The concrete walls and base feature an eight-inch thickness with continuous number four rebar and number four bars spaced at twelve inches on center each way centered in the wall as typical. The pit interior measures up to four feet maximum width unless noted otherwise, with a depth of four feet maximum unless noted otherwise. A metal grating sits at the top surface, supported by the concrete edge offset. Slab thickness and reinforcement are sized per plan.
