A structural framing connection where a beam connects to a wide flange column web using a typical shear plate connection with four bolts. Three-eighths-inch thick top and bottom stiffener plates with one-inch maximum cropped corners are provided to clear the column k-area. Three-sixteenths-inch fillet welds secure the stiffener plates to both the column web and the column flange. The beam and column sizes are sized per plan.
