A zee profile connects to the underside of a wide flange beam flange through an intermediate flat plate welded with a one-eighth inch fillet weld. Back-to-back studs attach to the assembly with four number eight fasteners to each zee, positioned with two fasteners within three-quarters of an inch of each leg. A three-quarter inch gap separates the top of the wall framing from the overhead beam support. Notes require reinforcing deflection track at back-to-back jambs and studs per detail two on sheet five point four two.
