A cold-formed metal stud track bears directly onto a 14-gauge bearing plate spaced at twenty-four inches on center parallel to the top flute of a bare metal deck. The bearing plate is secured to the bare metal deck with three number ten self-metal screws at eight inches on center. The sill track connects to the bearing plate using two number twelve self-metal screws at sixteen inches on center. Metal studs frame into the track per the scheduled details.
