Cold-formed steel studs bear on a forty-three mil track fastened with two quarter-inch by three-inch self-drilling screws at thirty-two inches on center. The track and studs sit above acoustic decking supported by the bottom chord of a steel truss. The truss webs intersect the bottom chord near the structural grid line. Sheathing covers the top of the acoustic deck assembly. Three-and-a-half-inch machine thread screws are spaced at twelve inches on center with pre-drilled holes at standard beam gauge.
