A structural steel shear tab single plate connection is welded to the face of a supporting column or girder. Standard bolt holes are spaced at three inches typical with edge distances of one and three-quarter inches and two and one-quarter inches. A note directs to steel lateral force resisting system notes for bolt types at lateral force resisting system member connections where applicable.
