A 200Z200-97 cold-formed steel zee member is spaced at 24 inches on center and aligned with the studs below. The zee bears on a 400T150-54 track section that sits atop the stud wall assembly. Connections between the zee and track utilize two number 10 fasteners at each zee, increasing to four number 10 fasteners at kicker locations within three-quarters of an inch of each track leg. The track is fastened to the studs per section using number 8 fasteners at each leg, with two number 8 fasteners at each leg at kicker locations.
